John contributed his award-winning cedar flute music, drums, and vocals to the score of the recently released HBO movie, "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee." Director Yves Simoneau called John\'s work his "secret weapon" in telling the emotional and tragic story of the Lakota Sioux people who lost their lives at Wounded Knee in 1890.
